Genco Energy Co-founder / Director Justin Sollitt participated in his first Tranz Alpine Scooter Safari on 29th May 2010, to raise money for the New Zealand Cancer Society.

Over 230 entrants rode 50cc city scooters 250km from Christchurch to Hokitika across the mighty Southern Alps in freezing cold and rain conditions.

This years event exceeded all expectations of the 2009 inaugural event by raising over $126,000.
