Genco Energy Co-founder / Director Justin Sollitt participated in his second Tranz-Alpine Scooter Safari on 26th May 2012, to raise money for the New Zealand Cancer Society.

Over 300 entrants rode 50cc city scooters 250km from Christchurch to Hokitika across the mighty Southern Alps in freezing cold and rain conditions.

With hopes of breaking the 2010 fundraising total, this year the event raised $245,000.
